SPV hails from Indiana, a state he has called home in various capacities, moving frequently from school to school and house to house. The place he spent the longest time was Fort Wayne, where his love for music truly blossomed during his childhood. "Fort Wayne is where I went to school as a kid and where I really fell in love with music," SPV reflects. The city, known for its vibrant community, has shaped many great artists, though SPV believes there isn't a definitive sound that characterizes the area. "Everyone's trying to shape the sound out here if anything," he adds.
Deeply influenced by older Hip-hop, SPV is passionate about bringing that classic sound back to the forefront. "I’ve really been itching to bring that older sound back," he admits. However, his primary goal is to have his music heard. Marketing and promotion have been significant challenges for him, and he recognizes the importance of having a supportive team. "Having a team next to me would be great as well," he says, emphasizing the need for collaboration in his journey.
Proving himself and others that he can succeed in the music industry is SPV's biggest motivation. "It’s cliché, but proving myself and others I can do it is really my biggest motivation," he reveals. He is driven by a deep passion for his craft, a trait he believes is missing in many artists today. SPV observes that the current music industry is often driven by the pursuit of money and fame, overshadowing genuine passion for the art. "If more artists were passionate about the work they are putting out, I think the music industry would have a fair chance again," he asserts. As SPV continues to navigate his music career, he remains committed to his roots and the authentic sound that inspired him from the beginning. His journey through Indiana's music scene is a testament to his resilience and dedication to his craft, promising an exciting future for this emerging artist.
