Richie Rell’s mission is rooted deeply in representing and uplifting his hometown. “My main goal is to be able to break the barrier for my city because it’s a lot of talent in my city but the spot light is not big enough for any artist to be seen and I just wanna be able to change that aspect,” he says. When asked about what he would change in the music industry, Richie Rell emphasizes the need for education. “If I could change one thing in the industry it would be education. A lot of artist aren’t educated enough to know that music is 90% business and 10% rap,” he explains.
