In the near future, I think Little Rock will be a place for music like never before.”

As someone immersed in the creative grind, Trey Haven’s also speaks to a larger concern within the music industry: fair compensation for artists. “If I could change one thing about the industry, I would just change the amount an artist gets paid per stream. Artists don’t even get paid one cent per stream on most streaming platforms, and I wish we could be compensated better for the work we put in.” With his roots in Arkansas and eyes on global growth, Trey Havens is one of many voices pushing for change and striving to shape a more equitable future in music.
