Azale is an emerging rap artist from North Carolina who is determined to challenge assumptions and carve his own path in the music world. While many expect him to follow in the stylistic footsteps of North Carolina natives like J. Cole or DaBaby, Azale makes it clear that his sound defies those comparisons. “I’m from North Carolina, everyone out here who hears me rap expects me to sound like J. Cole or Dababy or even some Hyperpop artist. That’s not exactly it,” Azale explains.
Driven by a deep internal passion, Azale’s primary ambition is not fame or accolades, but the ability to sustain himself creatively and professionally through his music. “My only main goal is to be able to live off of my passion and never run out of progress to make in my brain because I know when that stops I’m gonna get bored with life,” he says.
However, Azale is also acutely aware of the harsh realities of the industry he is trying to thrive in. He offers candid commentary on the challenges that artists face due to systemic issues within the music business. “This music industry is so beyond corrupted it’s hard to even make way.” Given the opportunity to make a difference, Azale wouldn’t chase superficial reform. Instead, he would focus on providing the foundational support that so many emerging artists lack. “If I could change one thing about the music industry if given power to I’d really just wanna change the accessibility of genuine help that artists need like guidance, management, artist development etc.” Azale’s visions reflects a grounded and thoughtful approach—one that places personal growth, authenticity, and community support above industry trends and commercial expectations.
