Princ3 Jok3r, a determined and passionate artist, traces his roots back to Laredo, Texas. Although his time there was brief, his journey through cities like Chicago and, eventually, Arizona, shaped the artist he is today. Having spent the past 15+ years in Arizona, he has gained a deep understanding of its unique musical landscape—a diverse and dynamic scene he describes as “a whole collective melting pot.” According to Princ3 Jok3r, Arizona’s music culture spans a wide spectrum. “There’s foos that make alternative and use hella autotune—some of ‘em sound good, but I personally don’t care for heavy autotune in my songs,” he states. His authenticity is grounded not only in his sound but also in his strong connection with other local artists. “There’s hella artists that rap. I know about 20–30 good ones who have hella potential and are definitely gonna go far if they stay consistently dropping good music.” That sense of community and drive fuels his belief in staying active and visible. “We gotta keep our name alive and relevant by popping out and performing at shows wherever there’s an opportunity available for us. I try to perform at least 1–2 times a month.”
When it comes to his aspirations, Princ3 Jok3r is both candid and ambitious. “My main goal in my music career is just to be known by millions. Like, I wanna have a big-ass fanbase where I get recognized walking in public, ’cause right now I only have like 30–50 fans that actually care and engage when I drop new content/music,” he explains. He also envisions financial independence through his art: “I also wanna make enough off my music alone to not have to work a 9–5 anymore so I can focus on my music and how to share it to the masses of the world full-time—which is where consistency comes in.” His long-term sights are set high. “I wanna be on Billboard Top 100, #1 spot. I know it’s gonna be hella challenging, but nothing is impossible. You can do Anything you put your mind to, for real—Remember That.
Despite his focus on personal success, Princ3 Jok3r is deeply aware of the systemic challenges faced by independent artists. “I wanna change a lot, but if I could change one thing in the music industry, it would probably be giving the underground artists a chance to make it happen for themselves, for real. There’s so many of us grinding and working our butts off to be seen and heard, but the industry focuses on numbers mainly, which discourages artists who can’t quite reach those numbers yet.” He speaks from experience when he discusses the emotional cost of such a system: “I’ve seen a lot of artists who are talented as f*** give up and move on. It’s sad, and the whole industry right now is designed for us underground artists to fail.” Still, Princ3 Jok3r remains unwavering in his resolve: “But me personally—I Cannot and Will Not Fail. I Will Persevere. And If You Support Me, I’ll Support You.” With raw honesty, an undying work ethic, and a vision rooted in both self-belief and community, Princ3 Jok3r stands as a voice for countless independent artists striving to be heard. His story is one of passion, persistence, and purpose—and it’s only just beginning.
