Patience, Feedback, and Fasting: How Noiz Navigates Life as a Rising Artist

Noiz
, an emerging artist in the music industry, opens up about the challenges he has faced, his creative process, and the advice he shares for aspiring musicians. His journey reflects the dedication and resilience required to navigate the competitive world of music. Noiz shares, “Some challenges I faced in the early stages of my career as a musician involved understanding how difficult it was to balance work and recording. I originally picked up a job so I could go to the studio more often, but it ended up taking up most of my time completely. Eventually, I got my own equipment and had to learn how to use all of it, which was a struggle at first as well.”

Discussing his creative routine, Noiz states, “A typical day for me when I’m working on a new project consists of me fasting until about 8 p.m. This helps me maintain a clear mind and be at my peak of creativity. I also try to watch a lot of movies that reflect the general mood of the album I am working on, to capture that feeling and see if the music can evoke the same emotions the movies do.”

Even as an upcoming artist himself, Noiz shares advice for those trying to break into the industry: “Patience is a virtue. I also send my music to a lot of people before it is released, and if there is a common theme in the feedback, I listen to it. I think a lot of artists adopt a ‘lone wolf’ mindset when it comes to their craft, and I completely understand it, but no one is ever going to make it far without accepting at least a little constructive criticism.” Through his reflections, Noiz emphasizes the importance of discipline, self-education, and openness to feedback in the artistic process. His story serves as both inspiration and guidance for emerging artists navigating the early stages of their careers.
