There were nights I was exhausted but still recording till sunrise, knowing this was bigger than me. I had to learn how to channel that pressure into purpose. As he continues to grow, iTaLi describes what a typical day looks like when he’s deep into creating a new project. “When I’m locked in on creating a new project, it’s like I’m living two lives,” he states. “I’ll start my day handling warehouse operations — leading teams, solving problems, keeping the flow right — then once the shift ends, I switch over into full artist mode. I throw on a beat, light up the creative energy, and just let it pour out. Some nights I’m writing at 4 a.m. with my work boots still by the door. That balance keeps me grounded. It reminds me why I’m hungry, ‘cause I’m not just rapping about the come up — I’m gone live it, well, Lord willing.”

Even though he considers himself an upcoming artist, iTaLi remains eager to share wisdom with others navigating similar struggles. “Even though I am upcoming myself, a piece of advice I would give to another up-and-coming artist trying to break into the industry is keep it real with yourself and your craft,” he shares. “You don’t gotta fake a lifestyle to make people listen — tell your truth, that’s what connects. Don’t let your 9-to-5 make you feel like you can’t make it, ‘cause that grind is building your character. I’m living proof you can clock in and still chase your calling. Stay consistent, stay prayed up, and never let anyone outwork you.
