Emerging artist Frank Vibes is steadily carving his lane in the music industry, guided by discipline, self-belief, and an unshakable commitment to his purpose. When reflecting on his journey so far, he opens up about the mental challenges of the grind, his creative process in the studio, and the advice he offers to other artists striving to break through. At the core of his journey, Frank Vibes says the biggest obstacle has been mental endurance. “Frank Vibes’ biggest challenge in his music journey has been maintaining the vigilance to know that he is going to make it no matter what,” he shares. He adds that “keeping an optimistic attitude in very tricky situations can be extremely difficult.” While the highs can be rewarding, he acknowledges the weight of the lows, stating, “As many highs as he has experienced, he has also faced a great deal of lows, and if someone is not strong enough, those lows can end an entire career.”
Discipline plays a major role in how Frank Vibes navigates his creative process. When it comes time to work, he explains that focus is non-negotiable. “When Frank Vibes is working on a project, he locks in for the whole day. He wakes up, rolls up, and heads over to his engineer Kimchi’s studio to focus,” he shares. He goes on to describe his methodical approach, saying, “He usually starts with all the solo songs first, getting them recorded, perfected, and finished before knocking out the features.” Reflection and refinement are equally important. “After recording, they sit and listen back for a while to see if there is anything that needs tweaking or re-recording,” he states. Once the sound is right, the momentum continues. “Once they are satisfied with what they have, Kimchi mixes it down, and they move on to the next track.” By day’s end, progress is measurable, as he notes, “By the end of the day, the entire project is either finished or just a few songs away from being done, with only guest verses left to complete.”
Despite still being an upcoming artist, Frank Vibes is clear about the guidance he offers others chasing similar dreams. He states, “The advice he would give to other up-and-coming artists trying to break into the industry is to not fall for the glamor, glitz, or empty promises.” Belief, he emphasizes, must come from within. “He believes artists should trust in themselves and their abilities. At the end of the day, you only need yourself, and you need to believe in yourself before anyone else does.” Purpose, according to Frank Vibes, is what ultimately attracts the right people and opportunities. “Once a person is fully moving in their purpose, they will attract others who are also moving with purpose,” he shares. From there, collaboration becomes power. “From that point, there is nothing they cannot accomplish, because multiple like-minded individuals working toward the same goal are far stronger than one alone.” As Frank Vibes continues to build his career, his perspective reflects a grounded understanding of both the struggles and rewards of the journey.
