Rising music artist TerrisOnYaFlight has been navigating the complex world of music with an unwavering commitment to authenticity. In sharing his experiences, he offers insight into the importance of self-expression and remaining true to oneself.  When discussing the obstacles he has faced, TerrisOnYaFlight states, “When it comes to the challenges I’ve faced throughout my music journey, I’ve encountered many obstacles. The main one has been how I want to identify myself, until I realized I don’t want to identify at all. I just want to be me and exist. I hate labels.”

TerrisOnYaFlight shares what a typical day looks like when he is working on new projects: “A typical day for me when working on new projects is trying to find peace and get into the right headspace to create. I am not saying my life cannot be chaotic; I just need peace to be able to create—like a real, quiet, dark place with just myself.” 

Offering advice to fellow musicians, TerrisOnYaFlight emphasizes the importance of individuality, stating, “My advice to other musicians like myself will always be the same: be yourself. Stop trying to be those you idolize or those who came before you.
